So today was my 21st birthday. I've been doing pretty good diet-wise lately. Today I didn't do bad. I did have some pizza, cake and ice cream, but it wasn't enough to make me feel guilty or anything. I am practicing my motto of "moderation, not deprivation" and it's working. I wouldn't dare eat like that every day, but occasionally, there's nothing wrong with it.
So, if anyone out there feels like they can't indulge a little on a special day, YES you can.
On to something else...
I'm still working on my site. It's really coming along great. It's way better than what I thought it would be. I have had so many ideas flowing it's crazy. It's easy to think of ways to improve and add to my page, but I need help increasing my traffic. What good is a site that has no traffic? So, that's what I need to focus on for awhile.
Until next time...

Check out my website!
I started a website for my "Diary of A Fat Ass" weight loss journey.
I've worked on it quite a bit, but I'm not finished yet. I have a few more pages and things to add, but it will be done soon.
For now, there's lots of things to check out! Click here to visit my site!

So far, so good...
Well, everything is going fine for me. I'm back on the road to health. I must admit I'm not quite used to it yet, I'm used to eating anything and never exercising, but that's ok. It'll pass. I am enjoying exercise, actually. I like the satisfaction of it when I finish each day. I know I'm on my way. :)
About my choice of exercise -
Currently, I'm doing the 30 minute "Celebrity Fit Club Bootcamp Workout!" It is a brutal but excellent workout for beginners. I've done it plenty of times before, so it's not so bad. The DVD also includes a 50 minute workout. I'll get to that soon but for now I just want to do the shorter workout so I don't hurt myself. LOL
You may have seen "Celebrity Fit Club" on VH1 in recent years. It's a show where overweight celebrities compete on teams to lose weight. Harvey Walden is the Drill Sergeant and he will kick your ass! If you've seen him in action, you know what I mean!
He is the instructor on the dvd, which makes it kinda fun.
It really is a great workout. One of the best I've ever seen and done. It combines plenty of cardio with a little strength training for a full body workout. You will lose a lot of weight doing this workout!!

The 'weight' is OVER!
I'm moments away from my first workout in quite awhile. I started my new 100% healthy lifestyle today, and I feel good!
The workout I'll be doing is not an easy one, but I've done it plenty of times before. It works, and that is what matters. It's the Celebrity Fit Club workout. I'll get into more detail about that later on, but right now I have some exercise to do!

My very first blog - ever!
Here I go again. About to embark on another weight loss journey. If I had done it right the first, second or third time, you wouldn't be reading this.
I don't have a problem losing weight, it's keeping it off that's the hard part!
I lose 40 or more pounds, feel good, look good....but then, somehow, for whatever reason, I don't work out as much, if at all, and I eat things that I should not be eating. Eventually, I gain all the weight back, and then some.
It's frustrating. If you've been there, you know just how frustrating it is.
I guess I just get bored with exercise and give up. I know what my problem is, and so I need to figure out a solution.
I have to do whatever it takes to maintain the weight loss!!
I now realize that working out and eating healthy isn't just a temporary thing to lose the weight. It has to be a lifetime commitment if I want to achieve my goals. I need to switch my work outs from time to time so that I don't get bored and lose interest. And of course, I have to always eat smart.
Since I am about to start a new and healthier lifestyle, why not chronicle it for others to see?
I think blogging about my weight loss will be an excellent way to stay motivated! If I have people reading my blog, I don't want them to see me fail, so I'll stay focused.
And it's not just all about me - I would love it if I can inspire others to become healthy, too. It is my hope that I will become a motivator for as many people out there as I can.
With daily blogs updating my struggles, progress, tips, and more, I think my blog can be an inspirational success!! We can do it together!
Thank you for reading! Stop by daily for updates!
